We are pleased to invite you to our free webinar: Understanding and addressing alcohol harm among rangatahi Māori

Tuesday 15 November 2022, 12pm–1pm

Join Professor Sue Crengle (Kāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe, Waitaha) and other Māori experts who will present and discuss new Youth2000 findings about alcohol use and related harm among rangatahi Māori at secondary school. In this webinar, you will hear the latest findings about alcohol use trends, risk and protective factors for higher-risk drinking, and experiences of alcohol harm as reported by rangatahi. There is some good news to celebrate, as well as challenges to address. Expert panelists Mikaere Sydney (CAYAD) and Abby Johnson (National Public Health Service, Te Whatu Ora) will discuss the implications of the findings. What can we do to make a difference?

Register for the webinar here.

If you’re unable to attend, a factsheet with key findings and a recording of the webinar will be available on the Youth19 website
